Bible Reading: 1Corinthians 8:1-13
But be careful that this right of yours in no way becomes a stumbling block to the weak. 1Corinthians 8:9 CSB
Many Christians have always said they are free to do anything so long their Conscience didn’t condemn them. Because you see Christians of different faith practice sinful things and go free you conclude that you too can actually do it, or you say there’s nothing wrong with it. There are things you see other Christians doing and you feel they are right with God. They may not be right with God and we should not practice those things. No one has the right to judge anyone, but you can judge your own self. For the fact that your conscience is not condemning you for what you are doing does not make you right with God. Consider others. Be an example to others who know you as a Christian. Apostle Paul said if eating meat will make my bother to fall, he said, he will stop eating meat. You do the right thing not for your sake only but also for the sake of others. Don’t do things because it’s good for you, consider others too. Your freedom should not be evil spoken of.
Prayer Point: Lord I pray in the name of Jesus that no root of sin should have dominion over me
