The Power of Prophecy

Bible Reading:  Corinthians 14: t-40
On the other hand, the person who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouragement, and consolation. 1 Corinthians 14:3 CSB
Prophecy and interpretation of tongues is a very important tool in building up the church. I want you to understand that what Apostle Paul was referring to in this chapter is not seeing vision or dream. We are not to be guided by dream or vision but by the word of God. You have the right to reject any vision, dream or prophecy given to you so long it does not align with your spirit. What then is the purpose of Prophecy and interpretation of tongues? It is for encouragement, comfort, strengthening and consolation. Therefore, any prophecy that gives you fear, condemnation, worries, or doom is not from God, you have to reject it. Don’t let anyone put you in bondage by telling you the enemy want to kill you or stop your job or marriage. The enemy has been fighting everyone including the person who is prophesying those rubbish. If you listen to such prophecy and accept the person to  pray for you, it means you believe their prophecy. Stand on God’s word.
Prayer Point: I reject every form of negative prophecy in my life
