Bible Reading: Mark 5:1-43
Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. Mark 5:19
Many are the afflictions of the righteous but God almighty delivers him from them all. You may have been passing through terrible situation and have waited for God so long to intervene and nothing appears to be happening. Never mind, the time for you to celebrate has come. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. This is your morning. Job endured and refused to shift ground despite obviously terrible affliction until his change came. You shall not be put to shame. But one thing is needful. Have you testified to people what God has done for you in time past? Let God know that you appreciate Him by telling others what God has done in your life. You can’t hoard His past mercies in your life and expect Him to keep meeting your needs. In our today’s text just as Jesus instructed the man He healed to go and testify to people He expects you to do the same.
Confession: Great is your faithfulness upon my life. Thank you Jesus!
