Bible Reading: Acts 13:1-12
And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus. Acts 13:6
As it was in the days of Paul, there are false prophets everywhere today, deceiving and misleading many people, using the name of Jesus. No wonder Jesus warned the church to test the spirit of every prophet to know if it is of God. There are many Bar-jesus in the world today that have penetrated into the church using the name of Jesus, but using diabolical powers to perform signs and wonders and turning many people away from God even believers. These are agents of anti-Christ. They operate prayer houses, they have big churches and they speak in tongues and see visions. They are not of God. Beware of these false prophets. As a believer, who is your prophet? Who watches over your spiritual life? Some believers move from one prayer house to another, from one church to another and from one prophet to another looking for solution to their problems. Your total confidence in God will give you all your desired miracles.
