Not By Works But By Grace

Bible Reading: Acts 15:1-21

And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved. Acts 15:1

Salvation does not come by the works of the flesh but by the grace of God which was manifested through the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. And grace does not work where righteousness and faith do not exist. Grace works through the circumcision of our hearts not of our bodies. Circumcision under grace means living according to the will of God, it is being obedient to God’s word, it is being committed to God’s work. God speaking in 2 Cor 13:5 asked us to examine ourselves whether we are truly His children, whether Christ is in us or not. Going to church only does not make you a true child of God. You must live a life of purity, you must run away from sin, hatred, envy, fornication and adultery, gossip an unforgiveness, etc. As many as are led by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  Do you carry the presence of God? Let us circumcise our hearts so that grace will work for us.

Prayer Point: O Lord, give me grace to be accepted in thy sight in Jesus name
