Justification By Faith

Bible Reading: Romans 3: 19-31

Therefore, by the deeds of the law, there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 3:20

Justification is to declare righteous without the deed of the law. We did not earn justification. It was a gift to those who receive Jesus as Lord. The death of Jesus was for our salvation and justification. If God should count on our sins, we cannot be saved. Jesus suffered and went to hell so that those who believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. He carried the cross and went to hell for you. His blood was shed for our redemption: The law has its purpose but a deed of the law will not give you salvation. We are not saved by obeying the law but, by faith in Jesus. The law is more than the 10 commandments we read in the Bible. We hear the word of God registered in our conscience if we obey what the Holy Spirit impresses in our minds that we shall be called children of God. God will not judge you on the basis of your righteousness but on Christ’s righteousness. This does not permit us to live a careless life.

Prayer Point: Lord, may you not allow me to take your grace for granted
