Beware of The Schemes of The Devil

Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 2:11
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Paul writing is a consolation for the believer. Some elder brothers in the faith are so hard on young believers as if they are holier than Apostle Paul. We see him telling us how to handle those who fell into sin with love. When we talk and criticize believers who fail into sin or had illegitimate marriages we kick against them as if the end of the world has come on them. It is true they committed adultery, masturbation, sodomy, drugs, divorce and remarry or even married two wives. What do we do? Throw them out of the church? Cast them away and carry the news everywhere? No. We should restore them in the spirit of love. That is the best time to make friendship with them in order to win them back. We are not the judge, therefore we cannot condemn them. It is the duty of the church and believers to forgive them and let them continue fellowship with the church so Satan will not take advantage of that mistake to make them fall away with no ability to return. We should not write anybody off but treat them with love.
Prayer Point: I am not ignorant of the devices of the enemy, therefore I destroy all their works in my life in Jesus name
