Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians 1: 1-13
Who comforteth us in all our tribulations, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 2 Corinthians 1:4
In John’s writing he told us “Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me”. Some years ago, I was in a situation where I needed comfort. I had a bad time that nothing was exciting my mind. The only option I had was to sing until I had encouragement from The Lord. Have you lost something precious to you? It may appear painful especially after praying and waiting for a miracle and it appears nothing is happening. The best comforter is the Holy Spirit. If you fix your eyes on people you think will give you the solution, you will be disappointed. Some in-mature believers get offended and fell apart because the pastor or members of the church did not visit or sent support to assist them. Such believer will only remain weak and in beggarly positions almost all their lives. We should look unto Jesus for our care and comfort. Be more prayerful and attend church. Then God will comfort and give you more miracles.
Prayer Point: God of Comfort, comfort me on every side in Jesus name.
