Captivity to the law of sin

Bible Reading: Romans 7: 1-25

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. Romans 7:23 The law brought men into condemnation and sin. Where there is no law, there is no sin. The law gave no permission for divorce and remarriage. It only permits remarriage after the death of the spouse. The ten commandments and law made us captive to the law of sin. Christ came to deliver us from the curse of the law. Paul said in verse 6 “But now we are delivered from the Curse” this will make us free and saved in the newness of the spirit and not in the oldness of the latter. This does not mean we have ruled out the law. No, God forbid, if the law was not out there, how would we know that we should not commit adultery or practice sin? Without the law, sin is dead. The law made us be conscious of sin. Thank God, we will not be judged by the law or our works but by grace. Men have the mind to do the right things but sin forces men to disobey. Anytime you wish to do the right thing, but evil persists within you. How do you come out? Invoke The grace of God, He will deliver you from sin.

Prayer Point: Lord, deliver me from the law of sin in Jesus name
