Bible Reading: Acts 9:1-43
But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: Acts 9:15
Paul persecuted the Christians so much. His zeal to deal with the believers was so much that he had to seek for permission to deal with them more decisively. As he journeyed to Damascus to go an perform the act, he met with Christ. His orientation changed. That was the end of his persecution against Christians. He became a vessel unto God. This goes to tell you that God can use anybody. No matter how bad you feel you have gone away from the Lord. No matter the atrocities you may have committed in the past, God is ready to cleanse you and make you a vessel unto honour. All you need to do is to confess your sins to God and give your life to Christ, He will pardon you and you will become a new creation, old things are passed away and everything will become new. Then avail yourself to serve Him. As Paul was so useful in the service of the Lord, you will also be useful. And the grace of God will be there for you to serve in truth and spirit.
Prayer Point: O Lord, I avail myself to be used of you in Jesus name
